The Resonance of HummingSun

Ancient resonance meets modern radiance.

The name HummingSun was born at the intersection of science and heritage. Scientists studying the Sun through NASA's SOHO satellite discovered that it isn't silent — hot plasma inside the Sun constantly compresses and vibrates, generating pressure waves that behave like sound. Sonified, they produce a continuous, low, pulsing hum — what NASA describes as the Sun's heartbeat.

In our own heritage, the universe is described as having begun with a similar first vibration: Aum. Two very different traditions — one measured in a lab, one carried for millennia — pointing at the same idea: that resonance, not silence, is the natural state of things.

The science, precisely: the Sun's internal oscillations were recorded via helioseismology (SOHO/MDI data, processed at Stanford), then sped up roughly 144,000× to become audible to the human ear — the resulting note sits about 57 octaves below middle C. Deepika S

Founder, HummingSun™

Deepika holds a postgraduate degree in Psychology and a Management degree (MBA — Human Resources), with 17+ years of experience across HR, Learning & Development, Talent Management, LMS ownership, and mentoring systems.

Her corporate career includes state- and national-level assignments with Tata and Canon, and she has been recognised with multiple awards for innovative HR solutions. She is a certified assessor from XLRI Jamshedpur, and completed XLRI Jamshedpur's Executive Development Programme (EDP) in HRM.

She is a wellbeing enthusiast — the lens she brings to every engagement, not a side interest alongside the work.

Our ISO 9001:2015 certification is currently in renewal — a reminder of the same standard we hold ourselves to internally, not just in what we deliver to clients.
